We do not promote generic tourism: we tell you about the places that preserve our family history, our scientific collaborations, and our agronomic roots.

Agricola da Schio lives in symbiosis with the Veneto region. The places we share with you have a deep connection with our family or are home to active collaborations that enrich our project. We invite you to discover an authentic landscape through our eyes, where sustainability is a daily practice and local cooperation is our strength.

The beating heart of our farm. This is where our open-air laboratory takes shape. The Colli Berici, with their unique marine-origin geology and limestone soils, offer a natural vocation for agriculture and viticulture. In Arcugnano, we promote biodiversity through the open-air laboratory of the Bosco delle Vigne, translating the richness of this terroir into wines with a unique and natural character.

The city, the Palazzo, and the resting place of the wine. Our connection with the capital of the Colli Berici finds its most elegant expression at Palazzo da Schio, Ca’ d’Oro. Here, in the silent darkness of the historic cellars, our wines are aged in bottle. The Palazzo is also home to our retail shop: a meeting place where the nature of the hills comes together with the art and history of the city.

The ancient bond with stone, wine, and family memory. Costozza tells the story of a winemaking tradition whose roots, for the da Schio family, reach back to the nineteenth century. This historic bond is still alive today: the Hermitage of San Cassiano, set into the rock, the renowned caves, and the splendid Villa da Schio are all properties preserved by the family. These are places rich in mysticism and geological history, in constant dialogue with our cultural vision.

The roots of the family and the spirit of innovation. Schio is the birthplace of the da Schio family, symbolized by the historic coat of arms featuring a double-tailed mermaid. In the heart of the city stands Palazzo da Schio, inextricably linked to the figure of Almerico da Schio: scientist, humanist, and inventor of the first Italian airship, which made its historic maiden flight over the skies of Schio in June 1905. A pioneering DNA that continues to inspire our agronomic innovation today.

Water as a resource and architectural mastery. In Castelgomberto stands another historic Villa da Schio. Here, the landscape was shaped by the Poscola stream, a testament to the wise water management practices of the past: the Villa was built according to the principle of “necessity as the master,” strategically positioned in areas protected from flooding. Today, Agricola da Schio collaborates with Villa da Schio in Castelgomberto to organize wine tastings during cultural events and guided tours of its magnificent historic gardens.

La Pettorina: agronomic science and education. In the plains of the Polesine lies “La Pettorina”, the educational farm created by Francesco da Schio, a respected agronomist and Berardo’s father. This area is a hub for important collaborations on scientific, food and wine, and educational projects. In addition, the fine artisanal cured meats produced at La Pettorina are available for purchase at our retail shop in Vicenza, creating a direct connection between the plains and the hills.
